All City buildings and facilities shall display domestic violence hotline information in a prominent location, including but not limited to main entrances, rest rooms, and bulletin boards. Each posting shall include the following:
A. 
The national domestic violence hotline number; or
B. 
A local licensed domestic violence service provider who provides domestic violence emergency sheltering; and
C. 
QR codes linking directly to the state of New Jersey, national hotline and/or a local licensed domestic violence service provider who provides domestic violence emergency sheltering; and
D. 
Educational material briefly describing the signs of domestic violence and urging victims or witnesses to seek help.
The postings required by this chapter shall:
A. 
Be designed to be clearly visible and legible.
B. 
Include bilingual information, accommodating the primary languages spoken within the community.
C. 
Be maintained in a condition that ensures the information is always accessible and readable.
The City Department of Public Health, in collaboration with the Department of Public Safety, shall oversee the implementation and compliance of this chapter. Non-compliance by any city department or facility shall be addressed promptly, with corrective actions taken as necessary.
This chapter shall take effect within 30 days from its passage, ensuring timely action in support of Women's Month awareness initiatives.
If any part of this chapter is for any reason held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the remaining portions of this chapter.
