An application for zoning compliance review shall be filed and
processed in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 of this chapter,
Common Procedures. The Director shall review the application to determine
whether the proposed use or construction is allowed by right, requires
any type of planning permit, is allowed pursuant to any previously
approved planning permit, or is prohibited. If the Director determines
that the proposal conforms to the requirements of these planning regulations,
a zoning compliance approval shall be issued. If the Director determines
that the proposal does not conform to the requirements of these planning
regulations, a zoning compliance approval shall not be issued, and
the applicant shall be advised as to how the proposal could be brought
into compliance.
