(a)
Adoption of standards.
The city hereby adopts the North
Central Texas Council of Governments Public Works Construction Standards,
North Central Texas, fifth edition (hereinafter referred to as "standards"),
with accompanying NCTCOG local amendments, by reference, as though
they were copied herein fully.
(b)
Responsible official.
Within said standards, when reference
is made to the duties of a certain official named therein, the designated
official of the city who has duties corresponding to those of the
named official in said standards shall be deemed to be the responsible
official insofar as enforcing the provisions of said standards is
concerned.
(c)
Penalty.
Any person or corporation violating any of
the provisions of the standards adopted by this section shall upon
conviction be fined a sum not to exceed two thousand dollars ($2,000.00)
per day and each and every day that the provisions of the standards
are violated shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
