A. 
Whoever violates a provision of any ordinance, whether of these Revised Ordinances or any other ordinance enacted after the adoption of this revision shall, unless otherwise provided by law or ordinance, be liable to a penalty of not more than three hundred dollars for each offense.
B. 
Except where otherwise specifically provided, each day any violation of any provision of these Revised Ordinances or any other such ordinance continues shall constitute a separate offense.

All fines and penalties for the violation of any ordinance or any order of the city council shall, when recovered, inure to the use of the city, and be paid into the city treasury, unless it is otherwise directed by law or ordinance.
