In the event any member of a board, commission, or committee of the City shall misses 25 percent or more of the regular meetings of such commission or board or committee in any calendar year without the express permission of the commission or board or committee of which they are a member, such member shall be deemed to have resigned from the commission or board or committee and the office shall thereupon become vacant upon acceptance of the deemed resignation by the City Council.

Members of boards, commissions and committees serve at the pleasure of the City Council. Unless otherwise provided for in law, any member may be removed at any time, with or without cause, by a majority vote of all the members of the City Council.
