No person shall maintain or operate any vending machine offering
cigarettes or other tobacco products except within a saloon, bar or
tavern when the vending machine is located at least twenty feet from
the entrance.

This chapter is intended to be supplemental to state law, and
in particular Business and Professions Code Section 22960 and as the
same may be amended. The definitions set forth therein may be applied
to this chapter.

Violations shall be a misdemeanor punishable as provided in Chapter 1.16.
