The fee for a permit required by section 10.05.031 is twenty-five dollars ($25.00). If work is begun without obtaining such permit, an additional fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per day shall be charged for each day’s delay in obtaining the permit. Public utility companies are exempt from the payment of the above permit fee; however, they are subject to the $10.00 per day delay fee.

(a) 
Permit and application fees.
(1) 
Five hundred dollars ($500.00) per application, up to five network nodes per application.
(2) 
Five hundred dollars ($500.00) per application for the first five (5) network nodes, then an additional two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for each additional network node per application.
(3) 
One thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per application for each pole.
(b) 
Rent from network providers.
(1) 
Nodes.
The annual network node site rental rate as set in Local Government Code chapter 284, section 284.053, shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per network node site, with annual CPI adjustment as provided for in chapter 284, section 284.054.
(2) 
Poles.
Local Government Code chapter 284, section 284.053 does not provide a separate rate for poles and therefore the rate is the same as for the nodes.
(3) 
Transport facilities.
The annual transport facility rental rate as set in Local Government Code chapter 284, section 284.055, shall be twenty-eight dollars ($28.00) monthly for each network node site, unless an equal or greater amount is paid the city, e.g., under chapter 283, Texas Local Government Code or chapter 66, Texas Utilities Code.
