Sections 2-92 through 2-98[1], inclusive, of the Code of the City of Rolla, Missouri, are hereby repealed, thus dissolving and abolishing the Rolla Cemetery Association Board.

The powers and duties heretofore borne by the cemetery board shall hereafter be performed by the parks and recreation department of the City of Rolla, Missouri.

The funds now in existence in the Rolla Cemetery Association Board's perpetual care account, together with all sums hereafter acquired as cemetery eternal care maintenance fees, shall be deposited in an interest-bearing account, with such interest income to be used solely for the continual upkeep, care, maintenance, and beautification of the Rolla Cemetery. The principal of said funds shall be kept intact, shall not be subject to transfer or diversion to any other account, and at no time shall any portion of principal of the eternal care fund be used for any purpose other than investment.
