The land owned by the city situated in Lamar County, Texas,
approximately seven (7) miles northwest of the city, commonly known
as the Lake Gibbons property, and described as follows:

same being on the south side of County Road, a stake; thence north

a stake, J.C. Hathaway’s northeast corner; thence south 76°20'

south 76°30' west 306 feet; thence south 8°30' east 407 feet;
thence south 21°52' west 667 feet; thence west 1765 feet; thence
south 1090 feet; thence west 1538 feet; thence south 299 feet; thence
south 86°40' west 788 feet; thence south 60°40' west 1586
feet; thence south 610 feet, a county road; thence south 89°30'
west 2020 feet; thence north 1°30' west 2060 feet; thence east

to the place of beginning, containing all land owned by the city,
including Lake Gibbons and the adjacent watershed,

shall hereafter be known as the City of Paris Lake Gibbons Game
Preserve, and is hereby set aside to be used for the preservation,
protection and propagation of game birds and game animals and as a
sanctuary for the same.
