As used in this article, the term “food establishment”
shall include all places, spaces, rooms, buildings, cellars, basements,
sites, vehicles or conveyances, including fixtures, furnishings and
equipment, in which food is kept, stored, processed, packed, served,
transported or otherwise handled for the purpose of keeping with intent
to sell or exchange, preparing for sale, offering for sale, exposing
for sale, selling or serving.
